I think jealousy is super useful.
Now, I don’t want you to stew in jealousy or become really bitter because of jealousy.
But that first sharp stab that you feel when you see someone who has the things you want…
It’s actually great data.
It’s telling you that there’s something you want that you’re not currently getting.
You’re not living your life in a way that allow you to get that thing.
And it is really helpful to know that that’s the case.
And it’s telling you that what you want is possible.
By staring at this other person who has what you want, you’re realizing, “Oh, crap, it’s possible. I have permission to go get it. There’s someone else who’s doing it.”
I know that first stab of jealousy is painful.
But you don’t have to judge it, and you don’t have to sweep it under the rug.
Instead, I want you to take the insight from your jealousy.
I want you to look at the data it’s giving you — the wisdom that it’s giving you and ask:
What is this telling me about what I want?
What is this telling me about how I’m living out of alignment with what I want?
And how is this showing me that what I want is actually possible?
Step 1 is not judging your jealousy.
Not running from it. Not ignoring it. Not thinking you’re a terrible person because of it. But just treating it as an interesting piece of data from your brain.
Step 2 is finding the wisdom and insight within your jealousy.
Inside your jealousy, there is signal and there is noise. And even if it’s 99.9% noise…that 0.1% signal could change your life.
Step 3 is acting on that wisdom and changing your life.
Insight and analysis and dreams and visions are all great… But none of those things change your life until you start taking action.
And right now, if you’re just starting to not judge yourself for being jealous…
And you’re just beginning to uncover the possible insight inside your jealousy…
And you have no freaking clue how to act on that insight…
Perfect. You’re in exactly the right place.
This is the moment that you come and talk to me.
Let’s untangle all the signals in your brain and get the message perfectly clear.
And then let’s lay out the plan to change your life.
