As many of you may know, I left my corporate job a few months ago without much of a plan but with two goals in mind:
Find a lifestyle that stops the recurrent cycle of physical burnout I keep finding myself in
Do something involving writing
A few months and a lot of work later, I am so excited to announce that I'm launching my own life coaching business!

Okay, maybe you have some questions. Here's an FAQ :)
Life coaching? Where did this come from?!
I've been a customer of this style of coaching since the pandemic began, and it has been nothing short of life-changing. I have never come across a toolkit that is so simple and so insanely effective for solving any problem, any time.
Combine that with my "retirement dream" of being an independent content creator, my love of doing advisory work, and my firm belief that every person I know desperately needs this toolkit, and this kind of sounds like my dream job.
What "style of coaching" are you talking about?
Here's the premise of this coaching methodology: Whatever you think your problem is (stressful job, annoying spouse, bad habit, etc. etc.), the problem is never the thing outside of you. The root cause of your problem is your thoughts about the thing outside of you.
There's no shortage of advice on how to change your actions and change your situation. And there's nothing wrong with any of that!
But I believe that this vector of problem-solving, where you dig into your thoughts, perspectives, and beliefs, and see how they're creating your reality is both highly effective and chronically underutilized.

What kind of problems do you focus on?
Anything and everything! Right now, my focus is on teaching this general problem-solving toolkit to my clients. I may pick a more specific focus in the future, based on market feedback.
Who is your target audience?
Stressed out overachievers, like me.
Have you jumped through some of society's highest hoops, achieved all your goals (and more), but you're still weirdly... inexplicably... unhappy?
Is meditation fine and all, but what you really want is a MECE framework and some root-cause issue diagnosis?
Yeah, me too. Let's talk.
What is your business model?
I'm starting with one-on-one coaching and am ultimately aiming to expand to group training programs, offered direct-to-consumer as well as through companies and schools.
End goal: I want these frameworks to be as ubiquitous in our circles as P&L statements and Excel shortcuts. Think Training The Street, but for your brain.
All of this is combined with an absolute boatload of free content across multiple platforms because I firmly believe that the best sales strategy is to help people for free.
Where did you get certified?
I got certified through The Life Coach School. Their toolkit draws on concepts from psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness. The education is ongoing and forever though, so hit me with your book, podcast, and training program recommendations.
